Educational Services

Naíonra Gaelach an Tulach Mhór Ltd was established in 1993, and is Tullamore’s only Naíonra.  Naíonra provides a quality pre-school service through the medium of the Irish language and participates in the ECCE – Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme (Free pre-school places)).  The Service is open to all children between the ages of 2 years 8 months and 5 years. We are a community-based service operated by the Board of Directors and managed by the Stiurthóirí.

Our mission is to value the ability, individuality and cultural background of all children by providing each child with the opportunities they need to reach their full potential as active learners, within an inclusive ethos/culture, and to do this through the medium of the Irish language.
